Dalewood Fromage is a small farm Cheesery in the Cape Winelands producing artisanal Estate cheese from its own single Jersey herd! The cows spend each day on lush pastures which are biodynamically managed.
Dalewood Fromage is an artisanal farmstead operation that produces cheese from 100% Jersey milk from its own stud registered herd of Jersey cows!
No artificial fertilizers, insecticides or weed-killers are used in our pastures, and Dalewood cows are never given hormones to increase growth or milk production, and also don’t receive unnecessary antibiotics.
The Dalewood Cheesery Shop on the farm stocks Dalewood’s cheeses and an assortment of cheese knives, rustic cheese boards, jams and preserves.
The Cheesery Shop is open during the week from Monday to Friday from 09:00 – 16:00 and on Saturdays (November to April only) from 10:00 – 15:00.
The Cheesery Shop is closed on Sundays, Public Holidays and Easter Weekend.
